So in my Skyline GTS-T the steering wheel I have now is heavily frayed and worn and I would like to replace it. I was checking out MOMO wheels and they have different styles and types listed like “rally” “tuning” etc. Have no idea what this means, probably is like how they sort them within their product line but maybe not.

I’m wondering if there is any different kinds of steering wheels I should look into for the type of driving I want to do with this car or is it just pick what looks good? Also does anyone have recommendations?

I’d say comfort is number one, followed by how it looks. They all have the same function, so I guess they’re sorted by style.

It’s basically pick whichever you like best. If you don’t have power steering, consider that a small-diameter wheel reduces your leverage and makes steering more difficult. It does the same for power steering as well, but in that case people usually like the effect as “increased steering feedback.”

Hmm i’ll have to see if there is a place around here that I can actually touch these lol. I have literally no idea what they would feel like and that is something to seriously consider.

I have a momo mod.88 because i’m weird and use the flats to find center when things get drifty, and 350mm diameter because I’m weak and want as much leverage as I can get for a 2 hr stint without power steering.
